Because Arete may work with minors and family education records, final policies must address data minimization, consent, retention, third-party processors, refunds, cancellation, accessibility, cookies, analytics, and educational-consulting limits.
Four-Year Membership Terms Summary
A Four-Year Membership covers the same advising tier for four years, paid at enrollment at 20% less than four annual payments. Upgrades may be requested and require an approved prorated difference. Session and application limits follow the selected tier. Refund and cancellation terms and the exact service start date must be confirmed in the applicable client service agreement before services begin.
Membership scope definitions
College Application Support: Each individual undergraduate institution counts as one college toward the package limit. Support includes application strategy, positioning, application review, and essay guidance for the colleges included in the student's plan.
Essay guidance: Essay guidance and revision support applies to all required essays associated with the colleges included in the package. Students write every submitted word; Arete does not ghostwrite.
