When should students begin advising?

Many families begin in grades 8-10, but juniors and seniors can still benefit from focused support.

Does Arete guarantee admission?

No. Arete provides educational strategy and does not guarantee admission, scholarships, aid, or outcomes.

Does Arete write essays for students?

No. Advisors help students brainstorm, structure, and revise. Every submitted word must be the student's own.

What does Essay in a Day mean?

It is a structured brainstorm-to-first-draft workshop. The student writes the draft; it is not ghostwritten or presented as a polished submission.

What do virtual sessions look like?

Sessions are agenda-based on Google Meet, with next steps documented and service limits tracked.

Is Mandarin support available?

Yes. English and Mandarin family communication can be provided.

Is financial-aid support included?

It depends on the plan. Arete helps organize FAFSA/CSS and may draft appeals with the family, but does not provide legal or tax advice or request credentials.

Are add-ons available without membership?

Yes. Every add-on is available to members and non-members.

Are multi-year memberships available?

No. Multi-year prepaid memberships are paused. Current plans renew annually, with a 10% credit for eligible early renewal.

Are services available outside Texas?

Yes. Arete serves remote clients throughout the United States.
